Emotionally Intelligent Children Become More Resilient Adults
When children can recognise feelings in themselves and others, manage their behaviour and set boundaries when needed, they have the skills to build genuine, healthy connections and become more resilient adults.
So how do we support this development – especially when we are concerned about some of their current friendships or relationships? The first thing is to trust our gut instincts and source the information we need.
KinWise resources provide insight and practical tips in bite-sized chunks – giving you confidence to guide and support your children’s learning without rescuing or pushing them away. Age-sensitive materials for sharing leave them in the driving seat – to build both awareness and resilience.
Expert Knowledge, Parent Perspective
KinWise was founded by Diana Mary Kelly, who spent more than 12 years leading and working closely with psychologists, therapists, social workers and educators. During that time, their work on school-based emotional development and support programs grew to impact approximately 750,000 children per year, in the UK and abroad.
But KinWise isn’t just built on professional expertise; it’s grounded in research and real parenting experience. As a mother of four, Diana understands just how challenging it can be to meet the emotional needs of our children whilst holding down a job, running a busy household and sustaining our own relationships.
